A series of three portraiture film teasers for their work-in-progress on The Continuous Moment, Part II, followed by their 2014 short film The Continuous Moment, Part I.

The Continuous Moment, Part I is based on the experimental architectural practice of the Italian collective Superstudio, and their widely-celebrated project The Continuous Monument––a globe-spanning megastructure of mirrored surfaces that existed only in a series of drawings, collages, films and critical writings and manifestos meant to challenge the status quo of the International Style. 

The Continuous Moment, Part II combines documentary, narrative fiction and experimental film approaches in presenting a speculative narrative about the realization of The Continuous Monument as a real structure in the world, built without the artists’ approval. This in-depth film essay includes interview footage with Superstudio’s surviving members along with footage of Superstudio’s installation work and Italian architectural landmarks.
